Observation excursion “Hero’s Uniform”
The visitors will take part in a realistic military expedition and learn about the history of Russian military glory from the 18th century to the present. They will see the exhibition housed in 22 halls, displaying the uniforms of the best regiments of the Russian Imperial Guard, and making it possible to discover some facts about cuirassiers and the differences between them and grenadiers.

Legendary weapons of heroes
The tour will introduce you to the legendary examples of small arms from the beginning of the Great Patriotic War to the weapons of the future.
Participants will see the weapons that helped to win the Great Patriotic War: the PPSh-41 (Shpagin submachine gun of the 1941 model) and the RPD-44 (Degtyarev light machine gun).
We will tell the story of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, which has rightfully become the hallmark of the Armed Forces of our country. Visitors will learn about the stages of its modernization, how the famous machine gun was used during the Cold War and the Chechen Campaign, as well as about its latest modifications.
The tour will culminate in a master class on disassembly/assembly of the AK-74. Participants will be able not only to see the components of the machine, but also to disassemble it themselves. And the bravest will try to fulfill the army standard for speed.
Quest "The story of one photo"
In the halls of the permanent exhibition, we will conduct a quest-investigation based on a story photo that depicts a participant in the battles on the Kursk Bulge. Our tourists, completing tasks, will receive information about the hero and appreciate the contribution of one soldier of our country to the overall Victory over fascism. The program will highlight the heroic pages of the history of an important battle.

Excursion program "Zhukov. Minister of Defense"
The program highlights the activities of Marshal of Victory G. K. Zhukov as the Minister of Defense of the USSR in 1955-1957. Tourists will get acquainted with the first, the most ambitious reform of military uniforms after the Great Patriotic War, learn about unrealized projects in this direction and immerse themselves in the middle of the XX century.
The tour takes place in three exhibition halls of the museum, which present original documents, personal belongings, photos and videos, unique, preserved to this day samples of uniforms, equipment and weapons, both introduced into the Soviet Army, and remaining in the form of projects and made in single copies.

The excursion shows the latest uniforms and equipment used in all branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The visitors will see combat gear known as the ‘future combat system’, uniforms of the Russian Navy’s secret units, cold-weather gear and models of modern military hardware. They can try to control a radar station and work at a command centre.

Street excursion “History of Bolshaya Nikitskaya”
You are invited to have a walk along one of Moscow’s most impressive streets, Bolshaya Nikitskaya! The street running from Manezhnaya Square to Kudrinskaya Square saw Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Pushkin and Feodor Chaliapin. The participants will discover the previous names of present-day Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, where the Goncharov Estate was located, and will learn about the inspiration for the Rostov House described in the novel War and Peace and will see a host of other things.

As a guest at the Vasilchikov Estate, you will learn about the history and architecture of the buildings as well as the history of its owners and famous guests. You will be told an interesting story about literary and artistic soirées attended by Nikolai Gogol, Mikhail Shchepkin, Fyodor Tyutchev, Ivan Aivazovsky and other renowned cultural figures. It is the Vasilchikov Estate where Mikhail Bulgakov wrote numerous pages of his immortal prose, worked on The Fatal Eggs and finished some chapters of The White Guard.
